Plenary events:
Friday 26 May — URBAN NATURES + EQUAL BY DESIGN. Architecture/planning/urbanism/geography-themed opening night, with Susan Ruddick, Beth Lord, Peg Rawes. Plus a film screening of ‘Equal by Design’, a 25 minute documentary film on equality, wellbeing, and the UK housing crisis.
Saturday 27 May — THE ARTS OF SPINOZA centrepiece plenaries with Moira Gatens and Anthony Uhlmann, on Spinoza, Percy Bysshe Shelley, Mary Shelley, literature, and the arts. PACIFIC SPACES / PACIFIC SPINOZA panel on Spinoza and indigenous ontologies with Carl Mika, Albert Refiti, and Jacob Culbertson. Includes finissage reception (exhibition closing event) at ST PAUL St GALLERY.
Sunday 28 May — SPINOZA ON CITIZEN & STATE — closing plenary with Michael LeBuffe, on Spinoza’s politics and ethics. Conference concludes with a roundtable discussion on SPINOZA HERE & NOW.
