Registration open for 5th BSA PG Conference ‘The Good, the Bad and the (Extra)Ordinary’

Registration is now open for our upcoming event ‘The Good, the Bad and the (Extra)Ordinary: the 5th British Society of Aesthetics Postgraduate Conference’. This event is an opportunity for postgraduates in aesthetics to meet one another, and to hear about the PG research being conducted in (and beyond) the UK. We are also very excited to be hosting Yuriko Saito and Elisabeth Schellekens as our keynote speakers for the weekend.

The event will be held at the University of York from the 29th-31st March 2019, in the Treehouse (Berrick Saul Building). The conference opens at 2pm on Friday the 29th, and closes at 1pm on Sunday 31st. Further information is available on our conference website, where the programme will also be published in full: www.goodbadextra.wordpress.com.

To register for the conference, please complete the Google Form here: https://goo.gl/forms/QC6C6XkYycOhutuH3

If you have any questions, please contact the organisers on tgtbteoyork@gmail.com.

A £30 bursary is available to contribute to the costs of travel and accommodation for PG students – claim forms will be available at the event. We also have a limited amount of discretionary funding for accessibility, such as childcare (available near our venue) and specialised resources (including but not limited to: a signer, a sighted guide, formatted materials [large print, Braille, etc.], food and water for assistance animals, travel bursary for a required personal assistant, etc.). Disabled parking is available, and the venue (including toilet facilities) is wheelchair-accessible. The conference venue is equipped with induction loops. This conference will abide by the guidelines set within the BPA/SWIP good practice scheme.

We look forward to hosting you!
