As part of our commitment to increasing diversity and inclusion within British Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art, the British Society of Aesthetics bestows a New Horizons Award for the best paper submitted to the Annual Conference by a member of a group traditionally underrepresented in philosophical aesthetics.
Congratulations to our 2023 winner, Britt Harrison (York), for her paper, ‘Reaction Shots in Stella Dallas: A Case-Study Argument for Philosophy of Art Without Theory’.
Britt receives a £1000 honorarium and a grant of up to £1000 to attend the conference in September, and will be encouraged to review the paper for submission to the British Journal of Aesthetics.
