Birmingham, June 2023.
Philosophers from across Europe and North America gathered in Birmingham in June – joined by an online audience from around the world – for this two day workshop on philosophical themes connected with interpersonal relations.
The papers, all of which came from early career scholars, engaged frequently with issues in aesthetics including the nature of meaningfulness, and the nature of aesthetic judgement. These issues were brought into dialogue with topics in ethics and social philosophy in a fashion that is typical of this emergent discourse in philosophy about interpersonal relations. The event was a great success, filled with highly profitable discussion.
This event was sponsored by a BSA grant.
