She did her PhD in Philosophy at UCL. Her work has focuses on the philosophy of photography and pictorial representation more generally, the relations between art and reality and the distinction between fiction and nonfiction in the visual arts. She is also interested in the history of philosophy in general and the history of the philosophy of art.
