University of Kent, 25-26 January 2014
The aim of this conference is to provide a platform for postgraduate students and early career academics with an interest in aesthetics to present their research and share ideas. Papers will be presented from a range of perspectives on a range of topics in aesthetics and the philosophy of art, including literature, music, representation, photography, contemporary art, the aesthetics of everyday life, ugliness and the sublime.

The conference will start at 10.30am on Saturday 25th and finish at approximately 3.00pm on Sunday 26th January. There will be a conference dinner in Canterbury at 8.00pm on Saturday, to which all delegates are invited. The full programme will be circulated closer to the date of the conference.
Registration for the conference is free. To register your attendance, please send an email with ‘registration’ in the subject line, and your full name and, if applicable, the name of your home institution in the body of the email to: pgaesthetics@kent.ac.uk by Wednesday 15 January at the latest. Please also direct any enquiries to the same address.
