The conference investigates the current philosophical discussions about the various connections between art and morality. Topics may include, but not limited to:
– Immoral content and artistic value
– Moral learning and appreciating artworks
– Mass art and morality
– Historical / cultural context, moral content, and interpretation
– Emotions and aesthetic judgment
Electronic submissions of long abstracts (800-1200 words) or papers (2500-3000 words, including notes, references, and a short abstract of 150-200 words) should be in Word or PDF.
