The Centre for Aesthetics at the University of Leeds and the London College of Fashion are pleased to announce the hosting of an interdisciplinary conference on the aesthetic and psychological issues raised by fashion. The conference will take place that the London College of Fashion from 30 June-1 July, 2016.
The conference is aimed at promoting psychological and philosophical study, research and discussion of the aesthetic aspects of fashion. More broadly, this conference is seen as contributing to the research of everyday aesthetics, as well as offering a distinctive participatory model for interdisciplinary work involving philosophers, psychologists and fashion researchers. This conference will bring together philosophical aestheticians, cognitive psychologists and fashion experts to explore a range of issues in the area.
