This conference will discuss issues such as the relationship between intrinsic and instrumental values of art, the nature of arts participation, and the state support of the arts in the UK. Speakers come from a range of disciplinary backgrounds, and we will be seeking ways to collaboratively address the key issues facing the arts today.
