CFA: Learning From Imagination

The conference will be held at the University of Leeds, 23 – 24 May 2019.

The organisers invite topics on all areas related to imagination, including (but not limited to):

Imagination in philosophy of fiction
Imagination in aesthetics
The possibility of getting knowledge from imagination
Mental time travel
The representational content of imagination
Embodied imagination

Please submit a 500 word abstract (excluding references). The organisers will offer 30-minute slots followed by a 10 minute question period. Submissions should be accompanied by a cover sheet, attached as a separate file and includes the author(s) name(s), email(s), institutional affiliation(s), and the title of the paper. The organisers especially encourage members of underrepresented groups in philosophy to submit an abstract. If you are a member of an underrepresented group in philosophy and wish to identify yourself as such, please include this information in your cover sheet.

The deadline for submission is 1st of March 2019. The organisers will endeavour to get back to you within two weeks to confirm whether you’ve got a place.
