Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London will award two bursaries to fund postgraduate study in 2014-5 on the MRes Art: Theory and Philosophy course.
The bursaries are provided by the Trask fund, established specifically for the MRes Art: Theory and Philosophy course. They are worth £2,000 each and will contribute toward tuition fees for first year students.
The bursaries are available to Home/EU and International students who have been accepted on the course starting October 2014.
MRes Art: Theory and Philosophy promotes dialogue amongst practitioners and theorists about art discourse today. Highly relevant for both artists and writers, the course theorises art from a contemporary perspective embracing ideas in Continental philosophy, the Marxist intellectual tradition, as well as psychoanalytic and feminist theories.
How to apply
The bursaries application deadline is 12pm noon on 19 September 2014. Please note that applicants wishing to apply for the bursaries should already be offered a place on the course or be in the process of applying. Applications are still welcomed from prospective students.
