We kindly invite you to contribute to the new book series sponsored by the International Association of Aesthetics: “Transcultural Aesthetics: The International Association for Aesthetics Book Series”, which will be published by Brill. We welcome proposals for monographs and/or edited collections focused on, yet not strictly limited to, the following topics: intercultural comparisons, inter- and cross-disciplinary western and non-western aesthetics, geopolitical aesthetics (e.g. ecologically and politically motivated migration; re-evaluation of colonialism and its cultural heritage); relations between philosophical and cultural-oriented aesthetics, media- and techno-aesthetics; aesthetics of historical and contemporary arts.

The deadline for the first submission round is 15 January 2022, but submissions are accepted after this date on a rolling basis.

Soon after the mentioned date, members of the IAA Editorial and Advisory board will discuss the individual project proposals on a competitive ground.
