BSA New Horizons Award — Joseph Kassman-Tod

As part of our commitment to increasing diversity and inclusion within British Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art, the British Society of Aesthetics bestows a New Horizons Award for the best paper submitted to the Annual Conference by a member of a group traditionally underrepresented in philosophical aesthetics.

Congratulations to our 2024 winner, Joseph Kassman-Tod (Berkeley), for his paper, ‘The ‘Poetic’ Quality of Art Criticism’.

Joseph receives a £500 honorarium and a grant of up to £1000 to attend the conference in September and will be encouraged to review the paper for submission to the British Journal of Aesthetics.
