The American Society for Aesthetics is pleased to announce travel support for students to present and/or attend several ASA meetings and co-sponsored conferences in 2017:

ASA MEETINGS:

ASA Eastern Meeting, Philadelphia, April 28-29, 2017

ASA-Eastern is sometimes able to provide small travel grants to students presenting papers who do not have access to travel funds, depending on revenue from the meeting.

ASA 75th Annual Meeting, New Orleans, LA, November 15-18, 2017

Students with papers accepted for the program receive travel support up to $1250 in reimbursement for actual expenses.

The Center for Philosophical Studies (CPS) at Lamar University will again be offering its Best Graduate Student in Philosophy Essay Prizes, up to four awards, of $125 each.

The Society for Philosophy and Psychology (SPP) has established a fund devoted to increasing diversity within the society. Eligible student presenters are invited to apply for travel awards when submitting via Easy Chair. Travel awards are to be used to cover conference-related expenses, including transportation, lodging, food, and conference registration. A limited number of additional graduate student travel awards will also be allocated.

Two travel grants to attend the workshop will be available to local-area graduate students in aesthetics, covering mileage and overnight lodging for two nights. Interested students should submit a one page application indicating affiliation, interest in the workshop, and interest in future applications of digital image analysis software in research or teaching in aesethetics or cognitive science. Submit as a PDF attachment via email to makingwaivs1@gmail.com.
