This international conference organised by Heythrop College, University of London and the Theology Department of Fordham University, New York aims at fostering an exciting conversation among our chosen disciplines concerning the human person and society. The conference seeks to explore the human being as a subject observing, listening and responding to art. It enquires into how images, sounds and cultural memories shape our religious, spiritual and ethical lives and considers the distinctive potential of art, religion and ethics to open up new transformative spaces for human beings.
