Conf: Values of Art

posted in: Event

20-21 June 2015, Research Centre, University of Sheffield

http://www.shef.ac.uk/philosophy/research/conferences/valuesofart

This conference will discuss issues such as the relationship between intrinsic and instrumental values of art, the nature of arts participation, and the state support of the arts in the UK. Speakers come from a range of disciplinary backgrounds, and we will be seeking ways to collaboratively address the key issues facing the arts today.

The conference is free to attend. However, please email Tom Cochrane to register.
