15 November, Blue Coat, Liverpool

Join us for a celebration of all things small and perfectly formed, from the hadron to the haiku, the boson to the butterfly. Activities include talks, exhibitions and hands-on workshops on how we perceive and capture moments in time; on miniature objects and microscopic creatures; and on the short form in the arts and literature. In the age of the sound bite, twitter and instagram are we living our lives at a faster pace than ever? The culminate with a high energy performance of flash fiction, poetry, film and monologues. You will also have a chance to to contribute your own ‘thumbnail sketch’ in words or images as a record of the day’s events and your responses to them.

All activities are FREE. Drop in for a while or stay all day.
